Evolving the voice of UK coffee
The British Coffee Association (BCA) provides the representative voice for the UK coffee industry. We were approached by the BCA to evolve their brand and create an engaging website to tie in with the organisation's new, modern approach and revised digital strategy.
Brand Identity / Web Design & Development
Using the previous logo for reference, we set out to refresh the brand and bring it up to date. A new distressed typeface was introduced and a restyled version of the original coffee bean icon was incorporated. A set of brand guidelines were created as part of the rebrand to guarantee clarity while retaining the strength of the brand and outlook of the company in the years ahead.
Web Design & Development
We focused on creating a user friendly website to help encourage more people to use the updated resource. Imagery focused on people rather than objects and portrayed the social side of coffee while complimenting the brand colours. To retain consistency, the use of distressed typography and icons was continued across the site.
